Notes

A scarce, attractive pocket anthology of the works of the American writer. Library Hub records just two copies of this printing, at BL and NLS, alongside a handful more of its 1830 2nd edition. An 1835 edition, produced by Thomas Tegg but with Griffin's name in the imprint, is entirely reset and replaces Heath's illustrations with those by George Cruickshank.
