FIRST EDITION, 12mo, pp. xii, 192. Later half calf, marbled boards. Some toning and soiling, dampstaining to a few leaves. Very rubbed and worn, flyleaves excised, spine label mostly lost and some insect damage to leather of spine.

Notes
A tract on infant baptism by dissenting minister Stephen Addington (1729-1796), which sparked a small war of publication: Samuel Stennett and Dan Taylor both criticised the work in print and Addington replied in an abridged version in 1776. Addington was then minister in Market Harborough and tutored boarding pupils as well, filling a vacancy left when John Aikin moved to Warrington Academy.
