Notes

A very presentable set of the full Chronicles of Narnia, six of the volumes first printings of the first editions and the other a second printing, six of them in unclipped original dustjackets and the other retaining a substantial fragment - all with uniform original ownership. The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe is from the second printing of 1954, and the Silver Chair (one of the scarcest to find in first edition) has had its dustjacket trimmed to just a portion of two panels, which are loosely inserted. The set has been in single ownership since new and though showing signs of use is still in a remarkable state of preservation for a much-loved and re-read possession.
