Third and fourth vols. with frontispieces included in pagination, numerous other black and white illustrations by Pauline Baynes throughout. Original cloth in light or dark blue, grey, or green, spines lettered in silver, map endpapers in several vols., dustjackets printed in 2 or 3 colours. Just a little light spotting internally. Spines a little cocked, a few light marks to boards, some foxing to endpapers, dustjackets not price-clipped but all somewhat foxed and soiled, a bit rubbed to extremities, most with a little wear to ends of spine panels, small chips to first and fifth vols. at head and foot, dustjacket of fifth vol. a little loose and that of fourth vol. present only as two large fragments, one from front panel and the other from front flap. Small ink ownership inscription to front endpaper of each vol.
