Oblong 8vo, pp. 16 + frontispiece and 7 hand-coloured plates. Original pink boards backed in red cloth. Closed tear to title-page, rear flyleaf sometime torn away, some pencil marks to blanks. Binding worn, scratched and water-stained, boards a little bowed.
A scarce juvenile picture book, with attractive hand-coloured plates, published by the French firm of J.H. Truchy, in their 'French and English Library' series. They produced children's works in both languages, although the present example is monoglot English. Worldcat records just a single copy, at Princeton, though it does not appear in the printed Cotsen catalogue.
