Binding a little soiled, spine darkening, stain to rear board and endpapers, spine splitting in one place, front hinge weak but cords holding. folded sheet of contemporary calculations loosely inserted, pencil ownership inscription of John Coll Senhouse to flyleaf.

An adaptation from Robert Simson's celebrated edition of Euclid by Rev. Jackson Muspratt Williams (1802-1832), who left England for India to undertake missionary work in 1829, dying in Chennai three years later.
