Notes

This copy of the Rev. Henry Kett's anthology was owned by Sir Felix Booth, Bart., gin magnate and financier of the 1829 expedition led by John Ross to find the Northwest Passage; the Gulf of Boothia in Nunavit was named after him in recognition of his backing.
This 1814 first edition, of which Library Hub records 7 copies, was followed by a couple of North American printings over the next decade, at Boston and Hartford.
