Notes

An updated edition of Rev. Lachlan Shaw's 1775 local history with beautifully hand-coloured illustrations. The subscriber's list distinguishes between regular and 'fine copies', but the hand-colouring may have been reserved for those personally presented by the printer/publisher and presumably author of the supplemental material that continues this edition beyond the 1775 first. The label in this copy, probably by the recipient (whose name is not found in the subscriber's list), records such a presentation from Grant.
