Contemporary half black calf, marbled boards, red morocco labels, spines divided by gilt rolls and rules and tooled direct in gilt, edges sprinkled red. Some spotting, plates a little foxed. Rubbed, some chipping to edges of marbled paper, some wear to extremities. Ownership inscription of D.R. Watson, Balliol college to flyleaves, dated February 1935.
