Description

16mo, pp. xvi, 240 + 16 plates. Ruled in red throughout, title-page printed in red and black. Later crushed black morocco by Bayntun, boards bordered with a gilt rule enclosing gilt dot cornerpieces, spine divided by raised bands gilt, compartments bordered with a gilt rule, 2nd and 4th compartments lettered direct in gilt, other compartments tooled centrally in gilt, edges gilt, turn-in gilt, marbled endpapers. Just a touch of spotting. Ownership inscription to flyleaf dated 31st January 1952.
