2 vols., 12mo, pp. 308; 318, [2]. Untrimmed in original marbled paper over card wrappers backed in brown paper, spine of vol. 2 numbered in ink, manuscript paper label. Somewhat soiled, edges worn, spine of vol. 1 defective, that of vol.2 partially so but cords holding, corners creased. Ownership inscription of George Sanderson to flyleaf of vol. 1, gift inscriptions to Mary E. McQueen[?] from A.S.D. to both vols.

A provincial printing of Macpherson's Ossian poems which also reprints Hugh Blair's critical dissertation to the rear of volume 2, in a fragile but substantially-complete binding of marbled-paper wrappers.
