12mo, pp. xii, 320, [2, ads]. Original brown textured cloth, black paper label to spine. Some spotting to first and last leaves. Binding a little sunned and stained, corners bumped, endpapers foxed. Bookplate of R.F. Dickinson to pastedown, inscription to flyleaf: ‘Rolando Nebiten [?] d. d Franciscus A. Faber. amicus amico. Alere Flammam 1847’.

This copy of the works of neo-latin poet Vincent Bourne (1695-1747) passed through the hands of Rev Francis Atkinson Faber, father of the publisher Sir Geoffrey Faber.
