An American printing of the works of Scottish poet Thomas Campbell (1777-1844), one of a few printings issued by the Philadelphia firm of Crissy and Grigg in the 1820s and 30s. It contains his long narrative poem Gertrude of Wyoming, centred on a battle in the American War of Independence.
