FIRST EDITION, 8vo, pp. 352. Original navy-blue boards, spine and front board lettered in white, dustjacket printed in blue, black, and red. A little spotting to edges. Dustjacket rubbed at extremities, spine panel sunned, a little worn to head and tail with old internal tape reinforcement to spine panel and front flap fold, flaps a bit foxed. Gift inscription dated Xmas 39 to flyleaf along with later ownership embossment.
