A privately-printed memoir of the Dundee Sociables. Described in the introduction as 'the gayest of gay athletics clubs' who 'will raise you a team for any sport', the Sociables an assemblage of athletic amateurs who tried their collective hand at football, cricket and hockey from 1902. It includes accounts of football games against Glasgow Cartha FC, general footballing reminiscences, reports of their cricket and hockey games and character sketches of each member of the team. Produced for friends and family only as a memorial of their camaraderie, it is understandably scarce, with Library Hub recording just three copies: at BL, NlS and Oxford.
