A rare reprint of the statutes of the private school now known as George Watson's College, founded by that merchant's bequest in 1723. The school's rules were first printed in 1724, and again on revision in 1740 (the year before the institution opened), and a third time following another revision in 1755, in which version they are printed here. Library Hub locates only two copies of this version, in the NLS and St Andrews, while ESTC lists five locations for the original 1755 printing.
