A dramatic fragment in French, English and German by Joyce, issued as a greetings card by bookseller and publisher Bernard Stone (1924-2005), bearing the address of the first Turret Bookshop premises. It was printed by Tom Raworth's Goliard Press during their period of alliance with Jonathan Cape; Goliard printed many works for Stone's Turret Books imprint.
Stone has most likely used this example as a greetings card and had inscribed the blank inside page.
