The first British edition of two fragments that went on to be part of Finnegan's Wake: The Mookse and The Gripes and The Ondt and The Gracehoper. It was preceded by a Paris edition, limited to 650 copies, by the Black Sun Press, which added a third tale, 'The Muddest Thump That was Ever Heard Dump'.
