Notes

The first British printing of Zamyatin's classic dystopian novel, which served as an inspiration to George Orwell's 'Animal Farm' and 'Nineteen-Eighty-Four'. Originally written in Russian, 'We' was first published in New York in 1924, translated by Gregory Zilboorg, and only published in the original Russian in 1952, though the Russian text was not printed in its entirety in Soviet Russia until 1988.
