Notes

The first edition of the ninth poetry collection by Scottish poet and clergyman Andrew Young (1885-1971). Young signed and sent this copy to his close friend and fellow clergyman Donald MacPherson Baillie (1887-1954) along with a letter, which, though barely legible, discusses Young's own parish as well as his pleasure over being published by Nonesuch Press.
