4to, pp. xxvii, [i], 209, [1] including engraved title-page. Contemporary black calf, boards with a gilt roll border and large central decorative blind stamp, marbled edges and endpapers. Title-page quite foxed, some spotting elsewhere. Rebacked, new red morocco label, hinges relined with cloth tape. Ownership inscription dated 1943 to flyleaf, earlier gift inscription to half-title.
