Beautifully designed by Sebastian Carter at Rampant Lions Press, and set in Albertus Light and Ehrhardt and printed on Zerkall Silurian paper, As The Story Was Told was crafted from various manuscript and typescript versions of a text Beckett first composed in 1973 to honour the German poet Günter Eich (1907-1972), the pieces here were chosen and arranged by the literary critic Christopher Ricks (b. 1933).
