8vo, pp. 348. Contemporary brown roan, boards bordered with a blind frame, spine divided by raised bands, lettered direct in gilt, other compartments tooled in gilt. A little spotting. Spine sunned, edges a little rubbed, a little wear to head of spine, front hinge relined with cloth tape. Lycée de Rennes prize label dated 4. Août 1880 to flyleaf, their gilt stamp to front board, ‘Early Technology’ bookplate of Michael Bennett-Levy to pastedown.
