Notes

The limited edition of a series of poems and pastel drawings by poet and painter Adrian Henri (1932-2000). Printed by The Old School Press in Bath as part of their first series dedicated to publishing new work by contemporary poets, the poems here were originally commissioned by the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra and set to music by Richard Gordon-Smith to tell the story of his grandfather who was lost at sea.
Henri worked on the drawings to accompany the poems for this edition while in hospital, and they became the last artworks he produced.
