FIRST EDITION, NO. 11 OF 19 LARGE PAPER COPIES, large 8vo, pp. xii, 236, [2] + frontispiece and 12 plates with printed tissue-guards. Partially unopened in original red cloth, boards blocked centrally in gilt, spine lettered direct in gilt, top edge gilt, others untrimmed. A touch toned. Boards soiled and marked, spine ends bumped. Inscription to flyleaf: ‘L.P. no. 11 of 19 Printed, Eneas Mackay’.

Notes

A local history compiled by Inverness bookseller John Noble (1833-1897), with a bibliography of Inverness periodicals reprinted from Scottish Notes and Queries. The ad hoc limitation statement is signed by the publisher.
