FIRST EDITION, NO. 66 OF 110 COPIES SIGNED BY THE EDITOR, 8vo, pp. 45, [1] + tissue-guarded frontispiece. Original quarter dark blue crushed morocco, cream cloth boards with blue morocco onlay, spine lettered direct in gilt, glassine dustjacket, brown card slipcase. Dustjacket torn and chipped, spine panel largely lost. Signed and numbered by Montgomery to limitation-leaf, frontispiece signed and dated by artist Stephen Gooden.

Notes

The signed, limited edition of this anthology of poetry by serving members of the eight army in North Africa. Montgomery contributes a foreword and has also signed the limitation leaf - of the 110 numbered copies, the first ten were bound in full morocco for him, with the remaining hundred for commerce. This copy preserves the fragile glassine wrapper, as well as the slipcase.
