Original quarter red morocco by Sangorski & Sutcliffe, marbled boards, spine lettered in gilt, top edge gilt. A little spotting. A touch rubbed. Signed by Andrew Young and Joan Hassall to half-title, ownership inscription of David Fyfe Anderson to title-page dated 20th December 1960, autograph letter and envelope addressed to Norman Macleod loosely inserted.

Notes

The very limited edition of Scottish poet and clergyman Andrew Young's (1885-1971) collected poems, only fifty copies of which were for sale. The enclosed letter is dated December 23rd, 1965, in which Young thanks the recipient for a Christmas letter and then goes on to provide some updates on his own day-to-day.
