Notes

An attractive edition of Virgil's Georgics printed by typographer George W. Jones in Estienne, the typeface he designed, based upon the types of its 16th-century printer namesake Robert. This copy is unnumbered but from the run of 500 copies printed on 'specially-made paper', a further 7 copies were printed on vellum. Jones has inscribed this copy boldly to the flyleaf.
