FIRST EDITION, NO. 76 OF 150 COPIES SIGNED BY THE ARTIST, large 8vo, pp. [viii], 75, [1] + original etching frontispiece and 20 photogravure plates. Original quarter buckram, grey boards, spine lettered in gilt. Text-leaves lightly mottled. Spine lightly faded, small spot of surface damage to rear board. Pencilled ownership inscriptions to front endpapers.

Notes

The scarce special issue of this compilation illustrated by William Hyde (1859-1925) - a regular issue of 375 copies was also produced that omitted the artist's signature and the frontispiece original etching (along with the reference to it on the title-page).
