Notes

The first duodecimo printings of Pope's landmark, much-reprinted translation of the Odyssey, in a contemporary matching binding. It was also issued in folio and quarto editions, probably more-or-less simultaneously - Griffith tentatively assigns these printings the same month of issue as their larger-format brethren. The fifth volume also contains a translation of Homer's Battle of the Frogs and Mice, following the index.
